desire vs. love

Desire has little to do with love.

Desire can be possessive, intruding, and at times threatening.

Love is gentle. Love gives. Love cherishes. Love is generous and open. It builds no walls. Love is the opposite of fear.

A man who desires you wants to be happy with you.

A man who loves you wants you to be happy.
